Rapstronaut: Space Journey

Rapstronaut: Space Journey is a 2D arcade game where you have to dodge toxic clouds and other enemies while collecting colored gems. Along the way you have to collect different power-ups. Some power-ups let you fly faster, others give you more life, and others improve your score.

The game system in Rapstronaut: Space Journey is very similar to the brilliant Jetpack Joyride, developed by Halfbrick Studios. Tapping the screen makes you fly upward, and releasing makes you fall. With these simple controls you have to try to get around all the obstacles that appear in front of you while picking up the gems needed to get three stars in each level.

The game is divided into several dozen levels, each lasting about a minute or two. In the early levels you have to travel the skies, but as you advance you'll make it into space, where you have to dodge asteroids and other equally dangerous obstacles.

Rapstronaut: Space Journey is a very entertaining arcade game that even without an especially original gameplay or approach manages to offer a satisfactory gaming experience.
